Well we have finally got here and the weather is ok although we have both got soaked in a cloudburst, a bit of a welcome for us. Mobile home is comfy and Jo sorting things out. Tomorrow we're off to have a go at driving the minibus to the lighthouse. The ferry was cancelled today and if its the same tomorrow then we will go across on James' dinghy!! Will update about this asap providing we get back.
Its a long drive up here with most of the last 50 miles along a single track road with passing places but we managed it without too much hassle or swearing! The views are brill and we will attach photos soon.
James and Elspeth made us feel really welcome and cooked us tea which was very much appreciated. Having a glass of wine and relaxing watching tv now.
